Winter only hides the problem until thaw, forcing city crews to clean up instead of maintaining infrastructure. Owners must carry bags, pick up waste immediately, and use the 172 bins available in parks and trails. Respect neighbours and shared spaces, always clean up after your dog.

Council also to adopted updates to the Committee Appointment Policy, allowing Permanent Residents to serve, prioritizing early-term applicants for mid‑term vacancies, and limiting Citizen Members to one committee except in special cases.
