Residents are urged to oppose a development exceeding zoning limits at a May 27 meeting. Fireworks are allowed on Victoria Day and Canada Day but require permits otherwise. City offices will close May 19 for the holiday. Upcoming events include public meetings on zoning, environmental studies, and conservation efforts.


Oak Ridges Wrap Up - May 9, 2025
King Road paving (May 12-16) will impact traffic. A virtual open house (May 12) will cover zoning in sensitive areas. Council is reviewing servicing allocation rules and zoning changes for new developments. Short-term rental regulations are under review for October 2025.
