Public Information Centre Notice - Coons Reconstruction
The City is preparing the detailed design for the Coons Road reconstruction, including new storm sewers, watermain replacement, sanitary repairs, pavement and sidewalk reconstruction, curb and gutter, boulevard grading, and streetlight upgrades. Construction is planned for spring 2027 pending budget approval. A Virtual Public Information Centre will be held on March 26, 2026, 6–8 p.m

Maple Grove Avenue and Wendy Way Road Reconstruction
Road reconstruction on Maple Grove Avenue and Wendy Way will begin in mid‑March 2026. Underground work is expected to reach substantial completion by late 2026, with surface road work substantially completed in summer 2027. Timelines may shift due to weather or site conditions, and residents will be informed of any major changes as the project moves forward.

Have Your Say! - Woodside Parkette Revitalization
Richmond Hill plans to revitalize Woodside Parkette (14 Vitlor Drive) with a new playground, safety surfacing, walkways, fencing, site furniture, signage, picnic tables, and added planting. Construction is targeted for 2027, pending budget approval and permits. Public feedback on the Woodside Parkette Comment Form is open until Monday, March 16, 2026.

Traffic Safety Improvements Coming to Milbourne Lane
York Region will introduce a U-turn restriction on Milbourne Lane at Bloomington Road in Richmond Hill to address traffic and safety concerns. Councillor Carol Davidson worked with residents and City staff to resolve problems caused by parents using the private lane to drop off students at Cardinal Carter Catholic High School.
