Join Councillor Carol Davidson and York Regional Police for a practical safety evening where officers will explain what is happening locally, how residents are being targeted, and the simple steps you can take to protect yourself and your family.

 • Home invasions

 • Staying safe when out walking or shopping

 • Distraction thefts

Financial Safety

 • Frauds and scams affecting residents and seniors

 • Phone, text and online scams

Vehicle & Property Safety

 • Vehicle theft prevention

 • Carjackings and robberies

 • Protecting your driveway and garage

Stay Informed

 • How to stay connected to what’s happening in your neighbourhood

 • Where to report suspicious activity


This is not a lecture. It is a practical safety workshop where residents learn what criminals are currently doing in York Region and how to avoid becoming a target.
