This hands-on workshop will help you feel confident responding to a medical emergency.

With support from trained St. John Ambulance volunteers, you’ll learn and practice essential, life-saving skills in a supportive environment.

What You’ll Learn

  • How to respond to choking emergencies

  • Hands-only CPR techniques

  • How and when to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Please note: This is an educational session. No certificates will be issued, but participants will leave with practical knowledge and the opportunity to practice key skills.

Cardiac emergencies can happen anywhere and at any time. By learning these techniques, you’re helping build a safer, more prepared Richmond Hill. We hope you’ll join us for this important community workshop.

Hosted by Ward 1 Councillor Carol Davidson and Ward 2 Councillor Scott Thompson in partnership with St. John Ambulance.
