Ontario is in a housing crisis, and the City of Richmond Hill is working to increase the housing supply for its residents.

Public Meetings to solicit comments on the draft Community Improvement Plan for Affordable Housing and Sustainable Design.

The City will be conducting the following maintenance on municipal roads, sidewalks and parking lots throughout Richmond Hill.

Agenda items approved include updated Property and Clean Neighbourhoods By-laws, Lake Wilcox Boathouse and citizen appointment for COA.

Agenda items include Bird-Safe design standards, application for 34 Avenue Rd, naming rights policy update and raising the Pride flag.

The City’s construction is scheduled to commence in June 2024 and is projected to be substantially completed by late 2025.
