🚧 Roadwork Planning Underway
The City is preparing to rebuild Fergus Ave, Moray Ave, Olde Bayview Ave, and Capelle St. This includes new pavement, upgraded water and sewer lines, better streetlights, and improved ditches.
🏠 Homeowner Action Needed
If you have a sump pump or private storm drain that currently drains into the roadside ditch, you’ll need to redirect it to your lawn so it drains within your property. This must be done before construction begins.
📅 Construction Timeline
The reconstruction is planned for 2027, pending Council approval. The City is asking homeowners to report any known sump pump or drain locations to help coordinate the project.
✅Please fill out the Sump Pump Questionnaire that was delivered to your address and return it to the City by Friday, September 19.
