Council Public Meetings are for Planning Staff to receive comments from Council members and residents about development applications. There are no decisions made by Council at these meetings.

Council Public Meeting - May 13

On the agenda are requests for comments for Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments for 1501 19th Avenue and 11 Harris Avenue. At 1501 19th, the proposal includes thirteen three-storey townhouse units on a private condominium road. At 11 Harris, the plan is for a ten-storey mixed-use development featuring 119 residential units and commercial space.

Recap: Richmond Hill Council Public Meeting - April 29

A request for an Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment seeks approval for a 10-storey high-density apartment with 229 units and three levels of underground parking (309 spaces) at 13572 and 13586 Bayview Avenue. Concerns include height & density exceeding limits, conflicts with urban structure policies, environmental impacts, and lack of affordable housing. Other applications propose new residential developments and zoning amendments."

Agenda items include a 23 storey building at 24 Brookside and 29, 31, 33, 38 and 49 storey buildings between Brookside and Naughton.

On the agenda is 2 semis at 99 Lucas and 15 townhouses at 112 Elgin Mills West.

Council Public Meeting - Feb. 25

On the agenda is three towers (12, 22 and 28 storeys) proposed for 45 & 51 Observatory Lane and the Comprehensive Zoning By-law Project.

Council Public Meeting - Feb. 11

Agenda items include 9 single detach at Edgar/Scott, revised application requesting a 21 storey building instead of 10 storey at 9861 Yonge.
